Event Editor: Message Box Choices

I continue to make good progress with the Event Editor. I have added many more commands (again a big thanks to Raeven0 for decrypting the commands). Today I would like to present you the command for Message Box Choices whose implementation was not so easy because the number of choices is dynamic.
But nevertheless here you can see the current implementation:

I plan to release a new release of the editor when I have implemented some more commands. Then you may play around with it yourself.

  1. Hey man big fan of your work! Been hacking myself Soul Blazer and managed to do some cool stuff like inserting back the JPN version graphics and translating the JPN text. Aiming at making a better translation of the original localization. Planning on working on IoG. I have a question, since both the Proto and US release of IoG share the same addresses for graphics, I was wondering if you might know where the routine for the title screen that dictates which tiles are drawn on which layer and screen segment is at in the rom? Anyway thank you so much for your hard work hoping to see your tool complete soon, cant wait for custom dungeons and boss fights, cheers!

  2. I wonder what game manafreak will focus on next.
Finger's crossed for Super Ghouls'n Ghosts; I even know someone, who has access to some hacking-related documents for this game.

Or maybe, continuing the Secret of Mana editir that has been stuck in development hell for years.

    Or, how about Terranigma?

Whatever manafreak will focus on next, I'm looking forward to it.
That is, unless he plans ti retire after his work on Illusion of Time.

    Good luck, manafreak. :)

  3. @Gamez n' Gainz: Sure, I can provide some data adresses for the title screen (US ROM):
Map Arrangement Data (arrangement of the map tiles): 0x001f2728
    Tileset (Graphics): 0x001cdd80
    Map Tiles: 0x001b2ce2
All of this data is compressed with the LZSS compression routine (I don't know if you are already familiar with it). Feel free to ask if you have further questions.

@Thorbs: Thanks for the nice words :) After finishing the editor (hopefully soon), I plan to create a complete game with it. Thereby I can also test the editor and check whether it's really finsihed or where I could improve things.
