Event Editor

I implemented a first version of an event editor. You can now click on an event on a map and edit it. Some event properties like it's position on the map or the event trigger flag can already be displayed. The only real event data that can be loaded yet is the dialogue data. But this works surprisingly fine even though some dialogues still look messy.

The dialogue data of the item handlers can also be displayed and all of this data looks already good :)

  1. Will the dialogue text be editable in ways other than through finding specific events? FF3usME lets you dump the dialog into a TXT file, which is handy if you want to search for a specific phrase.

  2. A text export feature shouldn't be hard to implement since I already have all the dialogue data stored in text strings. I will try to implement this for the next version of the editor.
A text import which lets you change the text could be possible but will be harder to implement. This can be considered as soon as the events can be written back to the ROM.
